   2000AD Prog 28, featuring the iconic character Judge Dredd, is a thrilling and action-packed addition to the popular British comic book series. Released on September 3, 1977, the issue contains several stories that showcase the futuristic world of Mega-City One and the harsh, authoritarian justice system enforced by its judges.

   The highlight of the issue is undoubtedly the Judge Dredd story “The Cursed Earth,” which sees the titular character and his team embarking on a perilous journey through the radioactive wasteland that surrounds Mega-City One. The story is packed with action, as Dredd and his companions face off against a variety of mutants and monsters, and the art by Brian Bolland is dynamic and eye-catching.

   In addition to the main story, the issue also features a number of other tales set in the 2000AD universe. “Flesh,” which follows a group of time-traveling cowboys on a mission to hunt prehistoric creatures for food, is a particularly inventive and entertaining entry.
